Thank you for being an active partner and advocate for NAWBO SEVA. Can you tell our readers why you are so passionate about the organization? NAWBO SEVA is a great organization with members that have expertise at many levels. They are always available to guide, support, offer advise and be a friend at a moments notice. They offer so much more than just answers they offer experiences they have had to deal with and have worked through so that you may have an easier understanding of how to work or apply them to your daily work or life. So much of life is learning and if they have learned something that makes it easier they are the first to share it with you. Tell me where else can you get that kind of support?

Based on your experience, what do you see as the most important thing a member or corporate partner can do to grow with NAWBO SEVA? Get involved, meet people become a part of it. There are so many ways to become involved and you will be rewarded with so much more than you can ever give back.

Can you describe the key business services and solutions you provide? We are a full service printing company serving all of Hampton Roads. We offer our expertise and advise so that you get the desired product you need to promote your company image. We can print your business cards, letterhead or generate a new logo if you need a new brand.

In a few sentences, what makes your services unique? We have the ability through years of experience to see and generate the products and a image you want to promote your company. We can offer solutions to your office environment that will make your office run more efficiently through forms management.

Which city in Hampton Roads do you call home? Newport News is home. I am a "Military Brat" as they say and was born in Portsmouth and we have moved around of the years. I have been in Va since 1964.

What do you like to do when you're not working? I enjoy spending time in my yard or on my Harley in the mountains during the summer.

The last really great book you read that you'd like to recommend to NAWBO SEVA members and partners. I read the book Fish, A remarkable way to boost morale and improve results. It's a short book but powerful.

Someone you admire and why? There are so many women in my life that I admire it's really hard to say which one of them I admire the most. I admired my Grandma who so many many years ago had the courage to leave her husband and go to work with 3 small children. She rode a bus to downtown Richmond and started as a salad girl to become the manager of Miller & Rhodes Tea room. That was pure determination to succeed and make a life for herself and your children.
